About the event

Join us for a transformative Earth Day workshop at Kids’ Food Basket, where we'll breathe life into our connection with the Earth. Dive deep into a sensory journey, exploring the power of breath and movement to unite our body's energetic expression and forge a deeper bond with our planet.

Slowing down and immersing ourselves in nature reminds us that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. In nature, we find a space to breathe, to reflect, and to reconnect with our true selves. This connection to the natural world is not just beneficial for our mental and emotional well-being; it also inspires us to live more sustainably and mindfully, in sync with the environment.

What to Expect:

  • Simple breathing techniques for balance and harmony
  • Mindful movement to self-soothe and express
  • Expanded sensory awareness
  • Grounding in nature
  • Visualization and the power of symbols
  • Community connection

Date: April 22nd, 2024

Time: 6-8 pm

Location: Kids’ Food Basket Greenhouse/Barn

Address: 1300 Plymouth Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505
